Intersections between forms.
University project where formal interventions are applied on the intersection in two ways, giving it a product character.
In my case, I have to work on the intersection between a cone and an extruded oval. We sought to give it the character of a scientific exploration product, playing with black and white and color in details. Clean surfaces as a scientific product but some robustness in the form since it is for field work. A contrast between the pieces was sought to communicate the interaction zones.
It has 2 movements, on the one hand, the front is rotated 180 ° showing the two screens and then the sides slide down, with the function of handles, where the user holds the product and interacts.
The model was made in 3D printing, and the mechanisms in metal and acrylic.
